Hopefully everyone had a safe weekend. We look forwarding to resuming to our normal schedule this week!
Meet 1 at MPI
The first meet of the season is this coming Saturday, 9/1, at Mid Pacific. Please refer to the schedule for timeline. We meet along the Ewa-Mauka sideline of the football field. Click on the photo on the schedule for a zoomed in google map location of where we set up our tents (note: this only works on the desktop site; the mobile site does not show the zoomed in location)
Students are not required to take the bus from school, just be sure to be ready to warm-up as a team at MPI at the specified time per the schedule. Each group will do a subsequent warm-up for their respective race. We will announce who is running which race at practice.
Weather
The hurricane/storm might have dissipated, but the weather still looks to be unpredictable for this coming week. Please make sure to bring warm clothes and ideally a rain jacket to school; better safe than sorry. Also make sure you have a dry change of clothes to change into immediately after practice should it be a wet day (school clothes is fine).
IXCI Kualoa Save the Date
As mentioned previously & at the parents meeting, please save the date for Friday, 9/14 & Saturday, 9/15, IXCI at Kualoa Ranch. It looks to be a very fun weekend with some of the best runners you'll see all season. On top of the racing, hosting an invitation of this caliber also serves as a big fundraising event for both the boys and girls cross country programs. We look for your support & will be rolling out an online volunteer sign-up soon.
