Congratulations to our young runners for their strong showing at this past Friday's ʻIolani Intermediate Cross Country Invitational at Kapiʻolani Park! The course conditions were great, and the boys ran their way to many PR's.
The JV & V teams competed at the HPU Cross Country Invitational out at Kahuku Golf Course on Saturday morning. The ocean-front venue was beautiful; the grass surface was immaculate & easy on the legs, a perfect setting for a mid season race.
Monday, 10/8, Discoverer's Day Practice
Monday, 10/8, is a school holiday. We will hold optional practice from 9am - 11:30am at Hoʻomaluhia Botanical Garden. It is a great place for a hilly tempos run. We will meet at the end of Luluku Road, where Park Access Road begins. Be sure to bring water and be prepared for possible windward rain.
Saturday, 10/13, Punahou Invitational
This weekʻs meet is on Saturday, 10/13, at Punahou School. This is also the site of this yearʻs ILH championships next week, and the last chance for the runners to state their case to make the champs team next week. We will meet near Dillingham Hall. Refer to the meet schedule for meet timeline.
