The weekend is finally here. Here are some reminders regarding tonight's Pasta Feed on campus and tomorrow's meet at Kualoa:
Pasta Feed
Mahalo to those who are coming in early to help us at the Pasta Feed. We will start set-up around 4:30. The teams should start trickling in around 5:30 with the dinner officially starting at 6.
We will have the Kualoa t-shirts for sale at the Pasta Feed for $20 a shirt. Cash or checks payable to IOLANI SCHOOL.
Boys: Enjoy the dinner & mingle with the other teams. After practice and before the pasta feed, come help us load up the trucks for tomorrow's meet. The Coaches will start loading up at 5:30 in the warehouse area. Come by towards the end of the dinner to help as well.
IXCI
We have full team of 7 representing our team in the Open and also the Championship races tomorrow. The representatives were announced at practice on Monday.
Those of you not racing will be at the meet supporting your teammates & helping out at the meet. We have a student signup at different shifts to support your parents here.
The bus & race schedule is on the schedule page. There are passing scattered in the forecast for tomorrow, so be prepared for all conditions, e.g. extra socks, rain jacket, towel, extra set of clean & dry clothes to change into etc.
Parking
Please please please, do not park in the Kualoa parking lot. Our designated parking is at the sugar mill pasture to the right as you enter Kualoa Ranch. We also have an early bird volunteer parking in the field directly across from Kualoa Beach Park for volunteers; access to this field closes at 12 noon until the end of the meet. We're looking forward to a fun meet and cannot wait to see everyone there. The course looks great this year; perfect time to hop in the 2-mile community race and perhaps set a PR. We also have food trucks, shave ice, boba & a home-made bakery stand at the meet tomorrow. Be sure to check them out!
