Meet at MPI, Saturday, 9/1
Please be advised parking is very limited for this meet.
1. MPI front gates to school will be closed until 6:00 - no teams or spectators will be allowed on campus until 6:00, so please do not arrive before then.
2. If parents and spectators would like to park on campus, our gates will only be open from 6:00-7:00. Our gates will be closed at 7:00 sharp. Once a car is on campus, it must stay parked until the completion of the final race, approximately 11:30. NO CAR WILL BE ALLOWED TO LEAVE BETWEEN 7:00 AND 11:30. NO EXCEPTIONS. This is for the safety of the runners.
3. Buses may drop teams off on campus, but they must leave campus and come back at the conclusion of the races. There is not enough parking on campus for buses.
4. Parents and spectators that would like to park off campus have the option of parking at UH. They do charge a fee (I believe $6 or $7, and we will have gates open between UH, near the Biomed Building and Mid-Pacific, for easy access to the start & finish area).
Kualoa Sign-Up
As mentioned at the parents meeting, this year is the 20th anniversary of the ʻIolani Cross Country Invitational at Kualoa. We are looking forward to a great meet with very competitive teams from the mainland; please help us make this yearʻs meet the best yet!
This meet is also a big fundraising event for the boys & girls cross country programs. We are looking for volunteers in many areas from course marshals, bikers, to parking attendants. Please sign up at in the google sheet here. We will contact each group separately with more details in the coming week.
